Gucci Mane Pleads Not Guilty To Assault Charges
Gucci Mane just pled NOT GUILTY to aggravated assault in Atlanta for allegedly bashing a U.S. soldier over the head with a champagne bottle.
Gucci (real name Radric Davis) allegedly bottled the Afghanistan vet back in March in an Atlanta nightclub … the man said he approached the rapper’s security to ask about getting a photograph when he was attacked, leaving a huge gash on his dome.
Mane was indicted April 9, arrested four days later and went to jail for nearly three weeks before being released on bond May 2nd.

J. Cole Plans To Move Up Release Date For ‘Born Sinner’
THR is reporting that J. Cole is planning to move his sophomore album Born Sinner up a week to June 18th to compete with Kanye West upcoming sixth studio album. “J. has been working nonstop to put out his album a week earlier—living in the studio, bringing in full orchestras and a choir.” We should be hearing an official announcement soon, stay tuned for details.

RIAA Announces Digital Streams Will Be Included For Gold & Platinum Certifications
RIAA has announced that digital streams will now be included in the gold and platinum certifications for singles and albums. Streams include Rhapsody, Spotify, Xbox Music and others; as well as video streaming for YouTube, Yahoo! Music, VEVO & more. Some changes include ‘Love The Way You Lie’ by Eminem and Rihanna is now 11 times platinum and Ca$h Out’s ‘Cashin Out’ is now platinum.
