Glenn Frey: ‘American Wedding’ a Bastardization of ‘Hotel California’
As you probably know Frank Ocean took the melody from the popular Eagles song Hotel California to use for a song on his mixtape Nostalgia, ULTRA. Well apparently a member of the Eagles, Glenn Frey, didn’t like it so much. He should pay more because his version was so bad? Come on now.
We’ve written him some letters to say, ‘Hey, buddy what’s going on here?’ He’s been very flip and arrogant in his responses to us, so we just put him on notice. You do a deal. That’s what should happen in the case of his bastardization of ‘Hotel California.’ There should at least be a deal. In fact he should pay more because his version is so bad.

Frank made alot of money off of it. It gets radio play and he performs it at shows. It’s one of his biggest songs lol.
