Atrilli Discussion: Anticipation

Kendrick+Lamar

This is the first time we’ve ever done something like this, and i think it would be dope. So, While listening to the Temptations preview by Kendrick Lamar and J Cole, i was thinking what everyone is anticipating? Personally, this Cole and Kendrick track is number 1 for me song wise. Album wise, probably, also the Kendrick Lamar debut LP. What are you guys anticipating? Leave a comment down below or in the Chatbox to your right.

  2. @chamymy_ says:

I think Kendrick and J.Cole both bring lyrics back to hip hop although they flows are different they both rap about similar things. I think they balance each other out and the production on the album is gonna be crazy if ab-soul and Cole work together. As for Kendrick lp I know forsure if it’s something like a section 80 just a step above it will be a classic

I Think This Kendrick Lamar Album Gonna Be Dope.
Also, Tyler, The Creator’s Next Album “Wolf” Is Gonna Make Or Break Him.
I Say That Because Since He Is Just Now Geting Mainstream Success, He Has To Establish Himself As A Dope MC That Can Sell To The Public

(Personally, Im Still Gonna Fuck Wit His Music, Imma Back In The Day OF Fan)

Honestly, hiphop is coming back. the west has K.Dot (also Black Hippy) and East has A$AP Rocky hot as fu***K right now. i mean yeah theres other artists right now. but for me, it was OVER when i heard A$AP’s mixtape that drops months ago.. i listened to his sh*t over nd over again. So for now, these main artists.. plus Lupe is what im anticipating for. Shits gettin real in the industry, and getting back to these kids rappin some sick lines. not that chump YMCMB im so sick of hearing. i want them to be done, and finally real artists are here!

  15. eddy says:

  16. Tizzy says:

  17. Guess nobody keeps it street anymore.

Gucci Mane new mixtape memorial weekend. If it is his best work as he claims..watch out.

Still patiently waiting for Rich Boy’s Bigger Than the Mayor 2. He announced it dropping twice in 2012 on a date and then just stopped talking bout it both occasions.

DJ Pauls two projects are gonna be fire. This whole dubhop he’s bringing is super hot and can’t wait to hear a whole mixtape of it.

Waka new CD. I don’t like the “I don’t really care” song at all but I still have expectations on it based on his first CD.

That’s all I can think of now. I’m tired of this new generation with their soft classical music. Slow my shit down and make those beats fire.

  18. I fucks with ASAP though.

(There’s a rumor that Eminem has a album coming out late this year but it’s just a rumor. If it becomes set in stone, then his album is definitely number one for most anticipated.)

    1. Justin Bieber – Believe (“Boyfriend is a gay title but it’s extremely dope with Mike Posner on the beat.)

    2. Kendrick Lamar – Good Kid In A Mad City & Temptations (Favorite rapper and have been waiting for “Temptations” to drop since last February.)

    3. Lil Wayne – I Am Not A Human Being 2/Rebirth 2/I Can’t Feel My Face (Hopefully I Am Not A Human Being 2.)

    4. Tyler, The Creator – Wolf

    5. The Killers – TBA (Every white guy loves The Killers, nobody knows why.)

    6. T.I. – Trouble Man (He fell off but if this album is anything like No Mercy, it’s going to be great.)

    7. Wiz Khalifa – O.N.I.F.C (I love Wiz but he’s dropping this as soon as school starts back which is just terrible timing for my mood.)

    8. The Weeknd – TBA (If The Weeknd would actually confirm that this is a sure project, it would definitely be higher up my list.)

    9. Kanye West – TBA (If he hits anything close to “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” then he has another masterpiece.)

    10. Kreayshawn – Life With Loopy (She’s lazy as all for promising this album for the past year or so, but hopefully she finally puts it out this year.)

    (IN THAT ORDER)

    • Wesley says:

Oh and I’m looking forward to the duets that Lana Del Rey has with A$AP Rocky (“Ridin”) and with Tyler, The Creator.
